Speaker : Staff Sgt. Guy Holmes

“Sgt Harris talks about his experiences while being deployed in the Middle East”
Staff Sgt. Guy Holmes has deployed twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and most recently returned in August 2006. While serving in Iraq as a fire direction specialist, he was part of a team used to support infantry and tank units while supplementing cannon artillery in combat. Originally from Muscle Shoals, Ala., he graduated from Central Texas College and has served in the Army for nine years. Staff Sgt.
Holmes is proud to be a Soldier because in his words: "I make a sacrifice that not everyone can or is willing to make, and to my family and friends I am a hero." The Soldier currently serves with the Salt Lake Recruiting Battalion and lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, with his wife.

He will be speaking to the Murray Chamber at our Monthly Meeting on Thursday June 10th at the Red Robin on Winchester. The general public is invited to join us, please RSVP to scott@murraychamber.net. Cost is only $15 with Chamber members and first time guests receiving a $3 discount.
