General Membership meeting at the Woods on Nine, 6775 South 900 East. From 11:30 am to noon is check-in and networking with the meeting starting at noon and ending at 1:00 pm.

Daniel C. Snarr, first elected in 1997, is serving his third term as Mayor.  As a full time mayor in the Mayor/Council form of government, Murray City employs 396 full and part time employees and 487 seasonal employees.  Mayor Snarr oversees a budget of $83 million.
Mayor Snarr attended the University of Utah and earned a B.S. Degree in Organizational Communications.  He also served a two-year mission in Scotland for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Mayor Snarr also served as a demolition expert in the Special Forces of the Utah National Guard Green Berets Unit.
Prior to serving as Mayor, he was co-owner of Snarr Brothers Landscaping -- a business he started in his garage and built to be one of the largest property maintenance businesses in Utah.  Maintaining his Murray roots and appreciation, Snarr Brothers is housed in an historic house, which the Mayor restored. Mayor Snarr is married to April Thompson Snarr, and has five children and two grandchildren.
